Michael leads the Centre’s ICT function, from networks, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems to the digital services that guests and staff use every day. A registered Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and an ICT and telecommunications engineer, he has led a full ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, deployed a cloud telephone system on AWS that cut inter-branch call costs, and built secure, reliable networks across multi-property hospitality operations. Before joining MTCC, he led the network and ICT systems at Private Collection Select Hotels. He also brings hands-on experience in electromechanical systems, event coordination, and safety management. He gained his early engineering experience at the Kenya Electricity Generating Company, where he was part of the team that upgraded the Sondu Sangoro DCS to SCADA in 2024, handling network and HMI testing and setup, and at the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, where he worked on air navigation, landing, and control tower systems at Kisumu International Airport (HKKI), including DVOR/DME, NDB, PAPI, VCCS, MLAT, and radio communications. Michael is pursuing a Master's in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.
